The Solar Container

The problem with solar roofs in winter is that they’re not very effective when the sun doesn’t shine or they’re covered with snow.

Unfortunately most solar panels aren’t also optimally facing the sun and they most definitely cannot be easily moved from one place to another once fixed up on the roof.

Meet the “mobile solar container”:

The idea of this project is nearly three years old and it has been put on hold due to a hype in solar power installations in general ever since. But hey, perhaps someone clever could pick it up again.

It certainly looks like a feasible and desirable solution which could have multiple intellectual property and interesting business model (sell, rent, license…) opportunities.
