Despite many predictions about what would happen when technological singularity occurs, nobody knows. The entire concept of a singularity event is based on understanding what intelligence actually is - however, we are far from it. Few years back I spoke at a Google Conference in Singapore with young students who were pursuing an engineering degree. Many asked questions like “how do I best start with machine learning?”, or, “how can I make a career in the AI industry?”, etc.
